Xeomin Injections in Farmington Hills, MI
Anti-Wrinkle Injection
What Does Xeomin Treat?
Frown lines form from repeated facial expressions over time. Muscles contractions under the skin create those lines and wrinkles, which deepen as we age. Neurotoxins, like Xeomin®, are prescription injectables designed to smooth lines and wrinkles by blocking the muscle contractions that cause them. As the muscles relax, the appearance of unwanted lines and wrinkles are softened, even eliminated in some cases. Xeomin is FDA approved for specifically treating glabellar lines (frown lines between the eyebrows) but can be used in many other areas as an anti-aging treatment. Something that sets Xeomin apart from other wrinkle-relaxers is that it is uniquely purified, which means it is produced with a unique process that isolates the therapeutic component of the molecule and removes unrelated proteins.

• Xeomin is the only uniquely purified neurotoxin on the market, free from unnecessary proteins.
• The most common treatment areas for Xeomin are forehead wrinkles, glabellar lines (11’s between eyes), and crows feet.
• Xeomin is administered by “unit”. The number of units you need will be determined during your initial visit.
• On average, Xeomin lasts 3-4 months.

How Much Xeomin Do I Need?
Like other neurotoxin injections, Xeomin is administered in “units.” The number of units you will need to achieve desired results will vary by each patient. Multiple factors play into treatment, such as your individual aesthetic goals, metabolism, muscle structure, and the size and number of areas you want treated. During your consultation, we will discuss all these factors and more to ensure you have the proper treatment amount.
What Should I Expect From My Xeomin Treatment?
During your initial appointment (usually lasting about 30 minutes), we will go over your medical history to determine if Xeomin is the best treatment option for you. Once it’s established exactly what your aesthetic goals are, our highly trained professional will then use a small, ultra-fine needle to inject the units of Xeomin directly into the targeted areas. The procedure is quick with minimal discomfort, and there is no downtime needed. You can expect full effects within about 2 weeks, with results lasting around 3-4 months. If you choose to maintain your results after that, follow-up appointments are typically only about 15 minutes.
